The World As We Know It

The world as we know it is really sad,

And we all know that’s a fact.

Global Warming, Wars, and Political attacks

Escalating faster than we can act.

It's going to get better, we say for the future

But the newspaper, oh... isn't that a trend setter?

We're working hard to find solutions,

Yet there is still no end,

To the seemingly unending list of problems.

According to history,

By 2020 we were supposed to make a huge discovery,

But we nearly ended up with World War 3.

No one truly knows,

What the future holds.

But it's up to us,

To create an ideal abode.

Together, towards a better time.
